The Vees are pleased to announce that affiliate player Steven Iacobellis (1993 – Forward) has been named Mac's Midget Tournament All Star. Steven is committed to Nebraska-Omaha. Steven is the captain of the Vancouver NW Giants in the BC Major Midget League and will be playing in Penticton next year. Steven has 2 goals, 4 assists in the first 4 games of the tournament.
Steven sent his team to the Mac's Midget final by scoring the tying goal with 20 seconds left to play. Vancouver Giants won 5-4 in Double OT. Iacobellis then went on to lead his team to win the prestigious Mac's Midget Tournament.
The Vees are very excited to have Steven coming to Penticton next year, and congratulate him on being a tournament All-Star at the Mac's Tournament in Calgary, AB.
