Vees Busy over Christmas Break

The Vees remained busy over the Christmas break after visiting NCAA schools and confirming details about two new NCAA commitments. The team is very proud to announce that Ryan Viselli (1989 – F) has committed to the Bowling Green Falcons of the CCHA conference.

At 20 years old, Viselli is a second year Vee who has been an integral part of the Vees depth and success over the past two seasons.

 Teammate Jake Johnson (1989 – F), also 20, has secured his commitment to the University of Northern Michigan. The Wildcats also play in the CCHA conference.

 “I am very proud of both Jake and Ryan,” said Coach Harbinson. “They both play with a lot of heart, and as 20 year olds, they both are excited to have the opportunity to play Division 1 College Hockey next season.”

 Ryan and Jake bring the Vees NCAA commitments to an amazing 14 players (15 including Steven Iacobellis who is affiliated with the Vancouver NW Giants) ? the highest number of any team in North America. Not only have the Vees had success on the ice, but they also have put a great deal of work into promoting their players? academic excellence and outstanding citizenship to the NCAA recruiters. The Vees wish to congratulate Ryan and Jake on their commitments.
