Christmas Charity Challenge Approaching Quickly

CHRISTMASCHARITY CHALLENGE TWO DAYS AWAY

 

PENTICTON, BC ?$34,500 will be given to local charity if 4,000 fans show up to the ChristmasCharity Challenge at the South Okanagan Events Centre on Friday night.

 

Wednesday saw two new pledges to the ?Challenge? with ProPhysio offering $500 to the Summerland Asset Development Initiative, and thePenticton Kinsmen – K40 Club adding $1000 with their commitment to the SouthOkanagan Breast Cancer Survivors Dragon Boat Team.

 

Over a dozen charities and 17 community-minded individuals,groups, and businesses have partnered up to challenge Pentictonites to floodthe SOEC on Friday.

 

The Vees will be hosting the Salmon Arm Silverbacks in amatch-up that features the top two teams in the Interior Conference vying for asingle first round bye.

 

?Two-for-one? tickets for the games are available with adonation of a non-perishable food item to the Salvation Army Food Bank at theSouth Okanagan Events Centre box office.
