Minor Hockey Players Free at Christmas Charity Challenge

MINOR HOCKEYPLAYERS FREE WITH JERSEYS AT TOMORROW?S CHRISTMAS CHARITY CHALLENGE

 

PENTICTON, BC ?The Penticton Vees are pleased to announce all Minor Hockey Players from theOkanagan Valley will be admitted free of charge for the Christmas CharityChallenge at the South Okanagan Events Centre on Friday night if they attendthe game with their team jersey on.

 

The SOEC and Underwriters Insurance have partnered up to getboy and girls who play minor hockey involved in Friday?s game.

 

?The atmosphere in the building is unbelievable when it isfull, and we want minor hockey players to take advantage of this opportunity tobe part of this great community event, and contribute to that atmosphere.?

With $34,500 pledged to over a dozen charities by 17community-minded groups, if 4,000 fans meet the challenge and flood the rink,all the money will be given away.

 

Friday?s festive event will also see two prime seats fornext week?s Carrie Underwood concert given away to a luck fan, Santa will be inattendance for the big game, there will be concession specials for just twodollars, and there will be live music in the venue.
