Vipers Slide Past Vees

Saturday night the Penticton Vees hosted the Vernon Vipers for their third meeting of the season.  The Vipers managed to limit the Penticton Vees to only 24 shots in the game.  While the first period was scoreless the second period resulted in two Vipers goals and one Vees goal.  The Vipers were quick with their first goal coming less than three minutes into the second period when Rob Short snuck a quick one past White. The lone goal scored by the Vees came from Curtis McKenzie with a pass from Denver Manderson also assisted by Devon Krogh.  The Vipers came back with the lead four minutes later, just after the Vees holding penalty expired.  Heading into the third period the Vipers were up 2-1.  The Vipers scored their insurance goal 12 minutes into the third period to win the game 3-1.
