Vipers Recap

The Penticton Vees are now four points back of top spot in the Interior Conference after losing to the Vernon Vipers 5-3 at the Wesbild Centre in Vernon.

Connor Jones led the Vipers with a goal and two assists, as they beat the Vees in regulation for the first time this season.

With the Vipers leading 1-0 after a period they opened a three-goal lead in the second frame with power play goals from Mike Collins and Cole Ikkala. Joey LaLeggia nailed his 11th of the year to put the Vees on the board, but the Vipers would get another tally from Connor Jones to lead 4-1 after 40 minutes.
