Surrey Recap

The Penticton Vees remain just four points out of top spot in the BCHL after a 4-1 win over the Surrey Eagles in Penticton on Friday.

The Vees scored three times in the first period – including twice on a 5-on-3 advantage – and never trailed in the contest en route to their 30th win of the season. The first of a home-and-home series with the Eagles was a chippy affair that saw Luke Curadi dismantle Grant Toulmin in a fight and 24 penalties and misconducts.
