Penticton, BC: After a 3-1 win on the road last Wednesday the Penticton Vees and West Kelowna Warriors will face-off in pre-season action again, this time at the South Okanagan Events Centre.

Last week, Henri Schreifels, Finn Halladay and Ryan Green scored for the Vees while Kolby Thornton and Ethan Lahmon combined to make 25 saves in the victory.

Dating back to the 2016-17 regular season and including pre-season games, the Vees are 14-1-1 in their last 16 meetings with the Warriors.

With the Anaheim Ducks U18 team no longer in Penticton, Wednesday’s lineup promises to feature many more players who will be fixtures with the Vees once the 2018-19 regular season arrives September 7.

The game is the second of the Vees four exhibition games which concludes with a home-and-home series against the Wenatchee Wild beginning south of the border Friday night.

As with all pre-season games at the SOEC, admission is just $5 for adults and free to those 18 and under.

Wednesday’s game will also be carried on HockeyTV, but the broadcast will not be on EZ Rock AM 800
