The Penticton Vees played the Victoria Grizzles last night at the SOEC. The Vees opened the scoring on a power play in the first few minutes of the first period. Denver Manderson snuck one past Victoria Grizzlies? goalie Alexandre Peck with help from Zack Josepher. The first period continued with a Grizzlies power play goal, and ended with another Penticton Vees power play goal, Brent Vandenberg scored with help from Garrett Milan and Zack Josepher.
The Grizzlies switched goalies in the second period with Anthony Grieco for the rest of the game. The Grizzlies scored the game tying goal on a power play in the second period. The third period was scoreless as was the first overtime period. The Vees Travis Ouellette scored the game winning goal with 0:40 left in the second overtime period.
The Vees outshot the Grizzlies 34-18.
