NEWS: Vees To Conclude Regular Season With Three-Game Week

PENTICTON, B.C. – After six months of hockey, the Penticton Vees see their regular season come to a close with a three-game week to conclude the season, including a pair of home games coming up on Friday and Sunday.

The Vees travel south of the border for their final road game of the regular season when they head to Wenatchee to take on the Wild on Wednesday night. Puck drop is slated for 6:00 PM from the Town Toyota Center with the game being broadcasted live on Bounce Radio 800 as well as streamed online at BCHLTV.ca beginning with the pre-game show at 5:40 PM.

The weekend sees a pair of big games on home ice to finish off the 2021/22 regular campaign, beginning with Feed The Valley Night taking place on Friday, March 25th against the West Kelowna Warriors, presented by Valley First. Fans are encouraged to bring non-perishable food items to the game in support of Valley First’s annual food drive, Feed the Valley, with donations going to Penticton’s local Salvation Army Food Bank.

–        Purchase raffle tickets at the game (1 ticket for $3.00 / 3 tickets for $5.00) for a chance to WIN two (2) tickets to Alice Cooper and pre-show dinner at the Vault Bar & Grill on Friday, March 15th at the SOEC. Winner must be in attendance at the game on Friday, March 25.

Food donations will be collected at all entrances to the SOEC, with raffle sales taking place on the main concourse indoors.

Sunday will mark the final game of the regular season with the Merritt Centennials in town for a 4:00 PM puck drop at the SOEC. The night will see the handing out of the annual team awards, presented by Home Hardware, taking place immediately following the final buzzer. Fans are encouraged to stay in their seats following the game to catch the awards show on the ice.

Home Hardware will also be presenting their annual Great Appliance Giveaway, taking place in the 1st intermission of the game on Sunday. Entries can be submitted at the Home Hardware in Penticton with three contestants selected for the in-game activation.

Tickets can be purchased at the Valley First Box Office as well as online at valleyfirsttix.com. Playoff tickets are also on sale now as the Vees will take on the Trail Smoke Eaters in the Interior Conference Quarter Finals beginning with Game #1 of the series taking place on Thursday, March 31st at the SOEC.
