Josh Nadeau named BCHL First Star of February

PENTICTON, B.C. – The BC Hockey League (BCHL) announced the Three Stars for the month on Wednesday and Penticton Vees forward Josh Nadeau has been named the First Star of February.

This is the third time this season Nadeau have been named one of the three stars of the month. He was named the First Star of December, and the Second Star for November.

Josh, 19, had 16 points (9G, 7A) in eight games last month. His nine goals in February was tops in the BCHL and he and two others finished tied for the most points in the league last month. Highlighting Nadeau’s stellar February was his four-goal game against the Wenatchee Wild on February 24th. The University of Maine commit has scored in five-straight games and has recorded two or more points in his last five. He had three or more points in half the games in February. The Vees’ winger helped lead his team to a 7-0-0-1 record in February.

Nadeau is second in BCHL scoring with 86 points in 45 games, three points back of his brother Bradly. He is also second in goals (33) and assists (53).
