OVER $30,000UP FOR CHRISTMAS CHARITY CHALLENGE

 

PENTICTON, BC ?The second annual Christmas Charity Challenge bounty is up to $30,500. Shouldover 4,000 fans show up to the SOEC for Friday night?s showdown between the toptwo teams in the Interior Conference, all the money pledged will be donated toten great charities in our community.

 

While the Vees host the Salmon Arm Silverbacks on the ice ina possible first place showdown on Friday night, ten local charities are hopingthat Pentictonites can duplicate the success of the event last season. A yearago the Christmas Charity Challenge saw the biggest crowd for a Junior A gamein Canada, and over $30,000 donated to charity.

 

Here is an early list of the community-oriented businessesand their pledges involved in the event that is challenging Pentictonites toshow up in big numbers in support of local charities on December 10th.
