All season long the Penticton Vees have been participating in the Read and Succeed Program at local schools. The 2008/2009 Read and Succeed Program is sponsored by the Penticton Herald, Underwriters Insurance and Sun Rype. The Members of the Penticton Vees go to the schools and read a chapter or two from Lorna Schultz Nicholson?s book ?Holding?. The players also answer student questions and sign autographs after the reading session. The players then play a friendly game of floor hockey with students
