The Mountain FM Ashes Tournament at the Cominco Arena in Trail began on Thursday where the Vees opened with a 4:30 PST tilt with the back-to-back Coastal Conference Champion Powell River Kings. The outcome was a 3-2 overtime win for the Vees! Derik Johnson, the third-year rearguard, and first-year captain scoring 2 Goals & 1 Assist.
