Vees Sweep the Weekend

The Penticton Vees beat the Quesnel Millionaires 3-1.  The Vees out shot the Millonaires 33-15.  Garrett Milan scored one goal and one assist  making him the third start, while Curtis McKenzie scored two goals to make him the first star of the game.  Colton Jobke and David Andreassen each got an assist.

Saturday night the Penticton Vees played the Prince George Spruce Kings and won 7-3.  The Vees out shot the Millionaires 32-21.  Brent Vandenberg lead the team with four goals and one assist which earned him the first star of the evening, while Curtis McKenzie scored one and two assists.

The Penticton Vees play their home opening games this weekend, Friday September 26th and Saturday September 27th.

Friday will be the last game in  the Penticton Memorial Arena with specail ceremonies.

Saturday will be the Vees first game in the South Okanagan Events Centre.  Make sure you get there early to take part in the pre game tailgate party.
