Vees mourn the passing of David Kampe

Penticton, BC: The Penticton Vees organization is mourning the passing of David Kampe today.

Kampe was the founder of Peter Brothers Construction and was well-known for his contributions to many public projects in Penticton. Most notably, the new care tower at Penticton Regional Hospital which was named the David E. Kampe tower in his honour.

A statement from Vees head coach, general manager and president Fred Harbinson:

“David has been such a caring influence on the youth of our community. It was David’s vision to supply free Vees tickets to local children which was a game changer for Penticton families and our organization. Penticton is a better place because of David Kampe, and he will be greatly missed by the entire Penticton community.”

Our condolences are with the Kampe family.
