PENTICTON, B.C. – The Penticton Vees are pleased to announce the commitment of forward, Max Heise (’06) for the 2023-24 season.

Heise, 17, played for the Calgary (NW) Flames in the Alberta Elite Hockey League’s (AEHL) U18 AAA Division this past season. “I am honoured to be joining such a respected and high-end organization and can’t wait to put a Vees jersey on,” said Heise.

Heise helped the Flames to an appearance at the 2023 Men’s U18 National Club Championship, after a two-game sweep over the Okanagan Rockets in the Pacific Regional Championship. The 6’2, 162-pound forward had five points (1G, 4A) in two wins over the Rockets. At the U18 Nationals, Heise had four points (1G, 3A) in five games. Heise is committed to Michigan State University.
