VEES ANNOUNCE DATES FOR MAIN CAMP

PENTICTON, BC– The Penticton Vees have released the dates for their Main Camp that will lay the groundwork for the 2012-2013 regular season.

Vees Main Camp will run from the 23^rd to the 25^th of August, and features fitness testing and three exhibition games between a pair of teams assembled of returning veterans, new acquisitions, and hopeful rookies. The Main Camp will end with exit meetings with the Vees coaching staffs, which have the task of paring down the 40-plus young men into a smaller group heading into the BCHL pre-season.

The BCHL has increased rosters to 22 players this season from the figure of 21 one year ago. The Vees must be down to 22 bodies at the start of the regular season, which is September 7^th when the Vees play the Chilliwack Chiefs at the BCHL Showcase Tournament.
