Penticton, BC: The Penticton Vees won the Interior Division pennant for the eighth straight year this season and will face the Cowichan Valley Capitals in the first round of the Fred Page Cup playoffs.
The Capitals, the fifth-place team in the Island Division, cross over into the Interior as the second wild card team and become the eighth seed for round one.
Game one will be played Thursday, February 28 at 7:00 at the South Okanagan Events Centre before game two takes place Saturday, March 2 at 6:00.
The series then shifts to the Island Savings Centre in Duncan for games three and four Tuesday March 5 and Wednesday March 6. Both games are 7:00 starts.
If necessary, the series would return to Penticton for game five at the South Okanagan Events Centre Saturday, March 9 for a 6:00 start.
Game six would be Monday, March 11 at 7:00 in Duncan and a potential deciding game seven would be played Wednesday, March 13 at 7:00 at the South Okanagan Events Centre.
