PENTICTON, BC ?The Penticton Vees Hockey Club is pleased to announce the addition of MichaelBetz from the Trail Smoke Eaters in exchange for future considerations.
An 18-year-old power forward who recorded 31 points in 30BCHL games last season, Betz is from nearby Summerland, BC and measures 6?1?and 210 pounds
To make room for Betz, Jake Charles has been sent to theCoquitlam Express for future considerations.
Betz is scheduled to make hisVees debut Saturday night in Merritt, where the Vees face the Centennials.
