VEES ACQUIRE20-YEAR-OLD DEFENDER PAUL BEZZO
PENTICTON, BC ?The Penticton Vees Hockey Club is pleased to announce the addition of PaulBezzo to the hockey club.
Bezzo is a 20-year-old defender who has played nearly 200games over three-seasons in the Ontario Hockey League.
?Bezzo plays aphysical style of hockey, and his experience and leadership abilities are awelcome addition to our hockey club.? Said Vees Head Coach and GM FredHarbinson. ?We?re excited about adding Paul to an already strong group ondefense.?
Bezzo is scheduled to arrive in Penticton this weekend,where he will prepare for his first action of the 2010-2011 season.
To make room for Bezzo, Lane Werbowski has been sent to theNeepawa Natives of the Manitoba Junior Hockey League ? close to his hometown ofWinnipeg. The Vees received Future Considerations for the rights to Werbowski.
Next action for the Vees comeson November the 13th when the club heads to Trail for their secondstraight game with the Smoke Eaters.
