Tychonick Selected for the World Under-17 Challenge

Wednesday, Hockey Canada announced the 66-players that will play on three Canadian teams for the World Under-17 Hockey Challenge, and the Vees’ Jonny Tychonick made the cut. The 16-year-old is one of 21 defencemen that will play on Team Canada Black, Red and White.

Tychonick is off to a solid start in his rookie campaign, scoring once and collecting four points through 10 games. The World Under-17 Hockey Challenge is in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, from October 30th, to November 5th. For more information, visit www.hockeycanada.ca
