The BCHL held its inaugural Top Prospects Game at the SOEC on Friday night, with Team East winning 6-2 over Team West. The Penticton Vees were well represented, with six players on Team East’s roster, which was also coached by Fred Harbinson.
The Vees’ Aydar Suniev and Bradly Nadeau scored in the second period for Team East. Suniev scored Team East’s second goal, 47-seconds into the middle frame. Nadeau scored the third goal, just shy of the five-minute mark.

Trail Smoke Eaters’ Brady Smith was named the MVP of the Top Prospects Game after he scored twice in the Team East’s win. The 17-year-old opened the scoring in the first period and closed out the scoring in the third.
