The Penticton Vees find themselves in a two game hole returning to Penticton after a 3-2 overtime loss in Game 2 of the Interior Conference Final.
20-year-old Rob Short was the hero for the Vernon Vipers as he scored the winner on a drive to the net 2:20 into the fourth period. For Short it was his second goal of the series – after scoring short-handed last night – and his second sudden death winner as he ended an overtime contest in Penticton in the regular season.
