Robson Named BCHL Player of the Month in February

Penticton Vees goaltender Mat Robson was named the BCHL Player of the Month for February.

Robson won eight of the 10 games he played in February and was undefeated in regulation, with his two losses coming in overtime. In those 10 game he had a minuscule 1.10 goals-against average, to go along with a sparkling .962 save percentage; he also had three shutouts. The 20-year-old was named the BCHL Player of the Week on February 27th.

In 49 games in the regular season, Robson posted 35-10-1-3 record, owning a 1.94 goals-against average, whilst sporting a .930 save percentage; he also had six shutouts.

The Toronto, Ontario, product is now in the running for the CJHL National 3 Stars of February; the winners will be announced at a later date.
