Penticton VEES Acquire Two New Players for the 2009/2010 Season

The Penticton Vees are pleased to announce they have acquired Ben Sexton (91) from the Nepean Raiders of the Central Junior Hockey League in Ontario. Ben tallied 14 goals, 21 assists in 38 games last season. Ben also spent 2 weeks competing with Team Canada East at the World Junior A Challenge. The 5'11, 182lbs forward is committed to Clarkson University for the 2010-2011 season. Ben was listed as a player to watch on the NHL Central Scouting players to watch list for the 2009 NHL entry draft.

The Vees have also acquired Jeff Johnson (91). Jeff is 6'2, 185lbs, Fredericton New Brunswick native. He played last season for Holderness Prep School in Plymouth New Hampshire. While at Holderness, Jeff was listed on the NHL Central Scouting players to watch list for the 2009 NHL entry draft. Jeff was also a New England Prep School all star. Jeff is a strong, play-making forward.
