The Penticton Vees Hockey Club is proud to announce the commitment of 20-year-old defender Matt Paltridge to the University of Western Ontario for the 2010/2011 season.The Tecumseh, ON product has played two seasons with the Vees in the BCHL after winning a Ontario Provincial Junior 'B' Championship in his 18-year-old season. Matt also played parts of two seasons with the Windsor Spitfires of the Ontario Hockey League.Paltridge has recorded 50 points in two seasons on the Vees blue-line, and won the 'Top Defender' at the Vees Awards Banquet this season.The Western Mustangs play in the OUA (Ontario University Athletics) in the CIS (Canadian Interuniversity Sport).The Vees would like to thank Matt for his contributions to the Vees Hockey Club over the past two seasons, and wish him the best in his future play with the Mustangs.
