NHL Scouting Combine Recap

The 2016 NHL Scouting Combine was held over the weekend in Buffalo, New York, and it featured two Penticton Vees in Dante Fabbro and Tyson Jost. The Combine was May 30-June 4 as NHL General Managers and Scouts flocked to the HarborCenter in Downtown Buffalo, as they got a chance to watch some of the top NHL draft prospects go through a gauntlet of physical testing and interviews.

Fabbro and Jost did fairly well in the testing as the two were in the top 25 in four of the 14 testing categories. Jost ranked third in both the Aerobic Fitness Test Duration and the Bench Press. Fabbro finished ninth in the Fatigue Index and 25th in the VO2max test.
