Last Game: Penticton set a new franchise record with their 12th consecutive win to start the season with their 4-3 overtime win over Cranbrook Wednesday. Bradly Nadeau scored the game-winner, on the power play, in the extra frame. The Vees erased a 3-1 second period deficit for the come from behind win. Thomas Pichette and Frank Djurasevic also scored in the victory. Luca Di Pasquo stopped 22 of 25 shots, including two breakaway saves in overtime. The Vees peppered the Bucks net with 55 shots, including 27 in the first period alone. The power play was was red-hot, as the Vees were 3-5 with the man advantage.

Tonight’s Game: It’s been nearly a month since the Vees last met the Warriors. Back on October 1, Penticton thumped the Warriors 10-3. Aydar Suniev and Dovar Tinling each had a pair of goals in that game, as the Vees got goals from eight different players. Tonight, is meeting number two of seven in the season series and second in West Kelowna. Penticton had won six of their last 11 games (6-4-0-1) in West Kelowna. Last year, the Vees were 3-2-1-1 in seven games against the Warriors.

Last Game: West Kelowna knows how to break a streak. The Warriors handed the Eagles their first lost of the season last Saturday, knocking off Surrey 4-2 at home. Surrey did score first but the Warriors went on to score three unanswered goals to go up 3-1 after 40 minutes. The two teams traded goals in the third period. Four different Warriors scored in that win, including Jaiden Moriello, who scored his team-leading sixth goal. Goaltender Justin Katz was the game’s first star after his 33-save performance.

West Kelowna is the hottest team in the BCHL outside of the Vees. The Warriors have won five straight and have points in their last seven (5-0-2-0). Their only regulation loss was against Penticton back on October 1.
