WHY

This generous donation from CIBC Wood Gundy is in response to the Penticton Vees Hogs vs. Hosers Charity Fundraiser Night initiative being held at the SOEC this Friday, February 8th.  The Penticton Vees will be donating $1.00 from every Adult / Senior ticket directly to the SD67 Breakfast Program.  The Breakfast Program ensures that ANY hungry student in the 11 participating schools in SD67 is learning on a full stomach. This program is not regularly funded, and is always looking for food donations from the local community as well as financial grants from organizations. CIBC Wood Gundy raised the $5000.00 donation through their Miracle Day initiative. CIBC Miracle Day is an employee-driven fundraiser started in 1984. Since its inception, Miracle Day has raised over 64 million dollars across Canada.

Fans are strongly encouraged to purchase their tickets BEFORE Friday. Child/Student tickets are only $2.00 and Adult/Senior tickets are $10.00 with a non-perishable food donation to Valley First’s Feed the Valley Program.  Donation bins are now set up at the Valley First Box Office located at the SOEC.
