Bradly Nadeau named BCHL First Star of the Month

PENTICTON, B.C. – The BC Hockey League (BCHL) announced the Three Stars for the month on Wednesday, and Penticton Vees forward Bradly Nadeau was named the First Star of January.

This is the third time Bradly Nadeau has been named one of the Players of the Month by the BCHL. Bradly was the 1st Star of the month in October and the 2nd Star of the Month for November.

Bradly, 17, led the BCHL with 12 points (4G, 8A) in seven games in January, helping the Vees to a 6-1-0-0 record. The 5’10, 162-pound forward was held off the scoresheet just once in January and has nine points (4G, 5A) in his last four games. The future University of Maine Black Bear also had three multi-point games last month. The 2023 NHL Draft prospect leads the BCHL in scoring with 73 points in 37 games. He also has a league-best 31 goals and is second in assists with 42.

Forwards Josh Nadeau (4G, 6A) and Aydar Suniev (5G, 4A) were were honourable mentions.

The Vees hit the road for a two-game road trip to the coast starting Friday, against the Surrey Eagles at South Surrey Arena. Penticton hops over to Vancouver Island Saturday, for a match up with the Victoria Grizzlies at the Q Centre. Both games are at 7:00 pm.
