Penticton, BC: The Penticton Vees are proud to announce 2000-born forward Lukas Sillinger has committed to the University of Nebraska-Omaha Mavericks for the 2020-21 season.

Sillinger, from Regina, Saskatchewan, is in his second season with the Vees and has recorded three goals and five assists in 10 games. He is currently sidelined with an injury. As a rookie in 2017-18, Sillinger scored seven goals with 13 assists in 56 games.

Sillinger played an increased role in the postseason collecting three goals and two assists in 11 games. All three goals came during the Vees seven-game series against the Trail Smoke Eaters.

When Sillinger arrives at UNO for the fall of 2020 he will be reunited with former Vees assistant captain Taylor Ward who is currently in his freshman season with the Mavericks.
