Warriors over the visiting Vees

Jordon Gagne netted two goals and kept his five game scoring streak alive ,while Garret Watson scored the game winning goal in the third period as the Warriors beat the Vees 6-5 at Royal Lepage Place on Saturday night. The game was the 10th between the Valley rivals this season.

The Vees Travis Oullette opened the scoring at 6:33 then made it 3-1 for the Vees at 6:18 of the second . His second was part of a 5 goal outburst in the middle frame – a period which saw Gagne tally his 29th and 30th goals of the season and Westside rally to tie the game at 3-3 .

In the end 3 third period goals from the Warriors were required to take the win in front of 1,281 fans.The Warriors were 3 for 7 on the power play and the Vees went 3 for 4 with man advantage . Kevin Jebson turned aside 35 shots for the win and Jordon White stopped 38 shots in the loss.
