Tuesday night the Penticton Vees were in Vernon to play the Vernon Vipers. After a scoreless first period the Vees came on strong with a goal 15 seconds into the third period. Ryan Johansen scored for the Vees with assists from Ryan Viselli and Travis Ouellette. Vernon scored a power play at 11:22 in the second period on a power play after Max Grassi took a penalty for Interference. The third period was scoreless. Vernon took the win at 2:13 in the first overtime period. The Vipers outshot the Vees 30-23 shots. Vees Goaltender took the third star with 28 saves.
The Vees travel to Merritt tonight for their last game against the Centennials for the season.
Home hockey action resumes Friday February 20th when the Vees host the Salmon Arm Silverbacks and Saturday February 21st when they host the Vernon Vipers. Game time is 7:05pm and tickets are available at the South Okanagan Events Centre Box Office.
