For the first time this season the Vees blew past the Vernon Vipers in a 5-1 victory. The Vipers out shot the Vees 29-22. The Vees capitalized on three of five power plays. The Vipers opened the scoring in the first period followed by a goal by Denver Manderson a minute later. Denver Manderson earned the first star with one goal and three assists while Jordan White earned the second star with 28 saves.
The Vees are back in action this Friday night when they host the Salmon Arm Silverbacks, and Saturday night when they host the Nanaimo Clippers. Tickets for both games are available at the South Okanagan Events Centre Box Office.
