Vees Pick Up Four Points

Friday night the Penticton Vees played the Prince George Spruce Kings and beat them 2-1.  The first period was scoreless; Ryan Viselli scored the first goal of the night at the 14:30 mark in the second period.  Heading into the third period Travis Ouellette scored a short handed goal for the Vees.  The Spruce Kings scored their only goal with less than seven minutes left in the third period on a power play.  Goaltender Jordan White took the first star with 40 shots on net, while Zack Josepher picked up the third star.

 

Saturday night the Vees were in Quesnel to take on the Quesnel Millionaires.  The Vees won 2-1 over Quesnel.  Garrett Milan scored the first goal with assists from Brodie Reid and Max Grassi at 8:15 in the first period.  The second period was scoreless; Devon Krogh scored a power play goal at 13:54 in the third period with assists from Ryan Viselli and Colton Jobke.  With less than 30 seconds left in the third period the Millionaires scored.

 

The Vees resume home hockey action this Wednesday night when they host the Prince George Spruce Kings.  Wednesday night is also Date Night ? couples can buy two adult tickets, two Pepsi and popcorn for only $30, this offer is only valid at the South Okanagan Events Centre.
