Vees over Vipes on OT

Garrett Milan scored at the midpoint of the first overtime period to shock the hometown Vipers and give the Vees the early lead in the series.

Vernon had rallied from a 3-1 third period deficit against a Penticton team that had played 6 games in the last 8 nights.  Milan, Johansen and Mckenzie scored for Penticton while Thompson and Roy tallied for Vernon.

Sean Bonar was a surprise starter for the Vees but turned a strong performance including as save on a penalty shot in the second period.
