Wednesday night the Penticton Vees hosted the Vernon Vipers for game four in the best of seven series. After last night?s loss by the Vees the Vipers now lead the series 3 to 1.
Halfway through the first period the Vipers scored a power play goal, followed by a second goal seven minutes later. Vernon came on strong in the second period scoring their first goal at 5:15 and their second at 5:40. The Vees scored their first goal of the night on a power play at the 14:17 mark of the second period. Garrett Milan fired the goal with assists from Max Grassi and Zack Josepher. Vernon scored the last game of the period to make the score 5-1 Vipers. Vernon went on to score the first goal of the third period followed by the Vees last goal of the evening a power play goal scored by Zack Josepher with assists from Max Grassi and Garrett Milan. Vernon notched their last goal at the 18:42 mark of the third period to win the game 7-2.
The Vees travel to Vernon Friday night for game five of the best of seven series. If the Vees win Friday night game six will be played at the South Okanagan Events Centre Saturday night at 7:05pm.
