Friday night the Penticton Vees host the Salmon Arm Silverback. The Vees scored the lone goal of the first period at 9:58 of the first period. Travis Ouellette netted the goal with assists from Zack Josespher and Ryan Johansen. The Vees came on strong in the third period with three goals in eight minutes. Curtis McKenzie scored the first goal at 8:14 with help from Adam Zamec and Eric Slemp. At 15:34 Ryan Johansen got one in with assists from Travis Ouellette and Ryan Viselli. The last game of the period came almost a minute later when Travis Ouellette netted one from Ryan Johansen. Eric Slemp scored the Vees fifth goal of the game with help from Curtis McKenzie, while Brad Reid scored an unassisted power play goal at 8:19 of the third.
The Penticton Vees finish their regular season tonight at the South Okanagan Events Centre when they take on the visiting Vernon Vipers. Game time is 7:05pm and tickets are available at the South Okanagan Events Centre Box Office.
