Vees announce special Game Seven Giveaway

PENTICTON, B.C. – The Penticton Vees are set to play the Salmon Arm Silverbacks in Game Seven of the Interior Conference Final on Tuesday at the South Okanagan Events Centre (SOEC), and the team is excited to announce a giveaway for local youth who attend the game.

The Vees have always been an intricate part of the community and recognize the dedicated support from our fans and now we want to give back to Penticton’s youth.

At tomorrow’s Game Seven against Salmon Arm, the Vees will be giving away a $1,000 cash prize for one lucky youth (18 and under) fan in attendance. Every youth ticket for Tuesday’s game will be entered into the draw for the cash prize. Existing youth season ticket members are automatically entered.

“We want to see as many energetic kids as possible in the building for Game Seven. Playing at home is a huge advantage in a game like this, so want to see the SOEC packed with enthusiastic fans. I am excited to say one young fan will be leaving with a $1,000 prize,” said Vees’ President, General Manager, and Head Coach Fred Harbinson.

The winning ticket will be announced in the third period and the winner will have 10 minutes to claim their prize, or a new ticket will be drawn. The winning ticket claim their prize at guest services.
