On the day of the 60th anniversary of Cominco Memorial Arena in Trail, the Vees spoiled the festivities with a 4-2 win on Sunday.
After a sluggish first period of play where the Vees were outshot 16-7 and allowed the first goal of the game on a turnover, the Vees found their legs in the final 40 minutes and scored three unanswered goal en route to their 25th win.
