The Vees played their last game before Christmas on Friday December 19th vs. the Westside Warriors. Denver Manderson and Zack Josepher each scored a goal in the second period which lead to tie, which ended in two periods of overtime. Westside scored the game winning goal with less than a minute left in the second period of overtime. The Vees outshot the Warriors 38 to 27.
The Vees were to travel to Merritt for their last game before their winter break on Saturday December 20th but was cancelled.
The Penticton Vees resume hockey action Wednesday December 31st when they host the Trail Smoke Eaters. Game time is 7:05pm and tickets are available at the SOEC Box Office.
