The Penticton Vees are proud to announce that 93-born forward Stefan Nicholishen has committed to the University of Nebraska-Omaha. Stefan, in his first year as a Penticton Vees made a huge impression on scouts in the Exhibition Season and first few season games. Nicholishen is a strong 6-feet-2 inches, 210 pound power forward, who is excited about being a Maverick. The Mavericks play in the CCHA conference, and Stefan will compete against other Vees Alumni in that conference such as, Zac Dalpe, Devon Krogh and Cory Schneider, all attending Ohio State in the CCHA. The Penticton Vees staff and players wish to congratulate Stefan on his commitment.
