The Penticton Vees needed a thrilling third period effort to take two points from the Williams Lake Timberwolves on opening night of the BCHL Season.
Trailing 4-3 after 40 minutes of play, the Vees killed of a full two minute 5-on-3 Timberwolves power-play and watched as captain Denver Manderson rounded out his hattrick with the game tying goal and game winner.
