Penticton, BC: The Penticton Vees wrap up their four-game exhibition schedule tonight as they host the Wenatchee Wild in the back half of a home-and-home series at 6:00 at the South Okanagan Events Centre.

Friday night the two teams clashed at the iFIBER rink in Wenatchee and the Wild took home a 5-1 win.

The game was close through 50 minutes with the Wild holding on to a 2-1 lead. David Silye had the only goal for the Vees. But the Wild broke through and scored three goals in a two-minute span to pull away and take the victory.

Derek Krall got the start in net Friday and turned away 34 shots in the losing effort.

Tonight’s game will be broadcast on HockeyTV, but not carried on EZ Rock AM800. Admission is just $5 to the general public and free to students 18 and under.

After tonight’s game the Vees will look forward to the 2018-19 BCHL season opener which takes place Friday, September 7 at the George Preston Arena against the Langley Rivermen.
