PENTICTON VEES AND GLOBAL SPECTRUM RAISED OVER 1,000 POUNDS OF FOOD!

Penticton, BC- The Penticton Vees and Global Spectrum Facility Management is thankful to the South Okanagan community during this season of giving for raising  over One Thousand (1,000) pounds of food during Penticton Vees games on December 17 and December 19.   With the help of the Penticton Vees and Global Spectrum Facility Management, the shelves at the Salvation Army are filling up fast. 

? We appreciate the overwhelming support by Vees supporters for donating cans of food to the Salvation Army.  This effort is just one more example of the Penticton Vees giving back to our region and supporting the community,? says Curtis Webb, General Manager of the South Okanagan Events Centre and Penticton Trade and Convention Centre.

 

Fans who donated food were entered to win the Ultimate Vees Fan Experience.  One lucky fan will be chosen to live a day in the life of a Vees player.  This lucky fan will get to warm up with the team, attend a team practice, sit behind the bench, be given a Vees jersey and be in the Vees locker room during one intermission.  The lucky winner will be chosen Wednesday December 31st at the New Years game.
