NEWS: Vees Host Teddy Bear Toss Game On Friday, December 6th vs. West Kelowna

PENTICTON, B.C. – The Penticton Vees are pleased to announce the annual Teddy Bear Toss game will take place on Friday, December 6th against the West Kelowna Warriors at the South Okanagan Events Centre.

Fans are asked to bring stuffed animals as well as toques, mittens, pajamas and diapers to throw onto the ice after the Vees first goal of the game. The donations will be collected and distributed by the local Salvation Army Foundation.

The Vees kindly ask that each of the donations be wrapped in plastic before hitting the ice and collected. The opening face-off is set for 7:00 PM at the SOEC.

The Vees open up a home-and-home set this weekend against the Merritt Centennials, beginning on Friday night at the Nicola Valley Memorial Arena. Puck drop is slated for 7:00 PM with the game being broadcasted on EZ Rock AM 800 as well as HockeyTV.com starting with the pre-game show at 6:40 PM with the Voice of the Vees, Trevor Miller.
