NEWS: Luc Wilson Named BCHL All-Star

PENTICTON, BC. – The BC Hockey League announced Tuesday the remaining All-Star selections ahead of the BCHL’s All-Star Game, to be played in Penticton on Saturday, January 15th, which includes Vees forward Luc Wilson.

The remaining All-Stars were selected via a Fan Vote, which totaled over 94,000 votes, to compete in the 3-on-3 outdoor All-Star Tournament. The final 10 roster spots were decided through this fan vote with the original 18 spots being announced earlier in November. Wilson joins teammate and Vees captain Fin Williams at the event in Penticton, which will be a weekend-long event filled with action from January 14th-16th.

Wilson, 21, currently is 2nd in team scoring with 12 goals and 15 assists for 27 points on the season, riding an eight-game point streak heading into action for the Vees on Tuesday night.

Interior Conference:

F – Simon Labelle (Prince George Spruce Kings)

G – Aaron Trotter (Prince George Spruce Kings)

G – Johnny Derrick (West Kelowna Warriors)

F – Ryan Tattle (Coquitlam Express)

F – Tyler Schleppe (Langley Rivermen)

F – Matthew Wood (Victoria Grizzlies)

G – Grant Riley (Chilliwack Chiefs)

G – Ajeet Gundarah (Langley Rivermen)

The Vees (17-2-0-0) head back on the road for a Tuesday night clash against the Merritt Centennials (1-14-1-0) at the Nicola Valley Memorial Arena. Puck drop from the Nicola Valley is slated for 7:00 PM with the game being broadcasted live on Bounce Radio 800 as well as streamed on BCHLTV.ca beginning with the pre-game show at 6:40 PM.
