“No matter what position he has played in the lineup,” Harbinson continued, “He has been a positive influence on and off the ice.”

The Toronto, Ontario native said the honour was unexpected but one he is very grateful for, “It’s very humbling and definitely wasn’t something I was expecting,” said the Vees forward, “I’m honoured to join David Silye, Jack Barnes and Jay O’Brien in our leadership group and looking forward to continuing what’s been a great season so far.”

The Vees are back on home ice to take on the Vernon Vipers tonight at the South Okanagan Events Centre tonight. Puck drop is slated for 7:00 PM with tickets available at the SOEC Box Office as well as ValleyFirstTix.com.
