Penticton Vees Announce Geoff Carter

as their new Athletic Trainer and Equipment Coach

One of the most important roles in the club is that of the medical trainer, keeping the players healthy and helping them recover from injuries. This important position for the 2009/2010 hockey season with the Penticton Vees will be fulfilled by Geoff Carter as the new Athletic Trainer and Equipment Manager.   Geoff is a registered Massage Therapist with a degree from Northumberland College in Halifax, Nova Scotia.  Geoff will also be responsible for the player?s equipment. Geoff has a wealth of knowledge in hockey, playing Jr. A in Nova Scotia as a youth and being involved as a coach in minor hockey for over ten years. This experience will prove invaluable when working with the players and with the rest of the Penticton Vees staff. Geoff will begin with the Vees in August 2009.
